1. Go to web.archive.org or go to an archive that exists of the game from 2006-2008.
2. Inspect element on the thumbnail of the game.
3. Find a hash (for example https://web.archive.org/web/20080101154508im_/http://t3.roblox.com:80/Place-420x230-e3d1444d160545e48b07000f0049dbb4.Png)
4. In step 3, after "420x230-" you should see a big hash. Copy that hash and exclude ".png" from it.
5. Go to https://contentstore.roblox.com/v1/content?hash=HASHGOESHERE and replace "HASHGOESHERE" with the hash you got from your game. (ex. https://contentstore.roblox.com/v1/content?hash=e3d1444d160545e48b07000f0049dbb4)
6. It should download the map, however you need to open file explorer and add ".rbxl" at the end of the hash. Then, open studio and have fun with your stolen map.
FYI, you cannot steal modern games. Only ones from 2006-2008.
Forgot to say, the place should have only been updated in 2008. By this I mean, if the place file was updated at some other time but the archive you have is a old version of the game, it won't work. So make sure the last update the game had was the time the game was archived which has to be in 2008.
